SPP Tuesdays Lecture

SPP Tuesdays Lecture

I just wanted to stick up a quick post about how surprised I was by Tuesdays lecture mainly because I was dreading it. Basically we all had to make a 1 minute power point presentation all about us and we all showed these to the group and took notes then said who we thought the person was.

I absolutely loved it, it was a really good way to get to know the group, to this point I knew a good few of them and recognised them all but didn't know everybody but now I feel that I know a lot more about them and doing the seminar was really fun and a good ice breaker. I also got a good few ideas from it for my Identities module and helped me focus on who I am, for instance I didn't know just how much I liked computer games.

Another thing that came out of it was how good some of the people on my course are, to be honest I was expecting about half of the group to have done the task, but they all did and some of them were done really well, I was impressed. I've noticed recently that our seminar group seems to keep getting smaller and a lot of the blogs on the reflective journal are empty, it's almost like the people that are left are the ones who are prepared to work really hard, which only makes me want to work harder to keep up.

So yeah a really good seminar I didn't even mind waiting 25 mins for it to start.
