Depression Forget that! I'm an Optimist
I put a post up last week called 'Another Influence and a Good Idea!' where I think I was being a bit too worried about my work and what it means or what it will mean. What I mean is that I said I wanted to paint a picture of a depressed Britain in my work that reflects the current climate. Yeah ok then....

The major huge problem with that is that I've always prided myself on being an optimist, looking on the bright side, the glass is half full and all that jazz. So basing an entire project around something that isn't me probably isn't the best idea, especially when this is an Identities project! So I've decided to scrap that idea, you can't get out of a recession if you just say how bad it is. Instead my work isn't going to even mention it, I'm going to be me look on the bright side, and that's what my works going to say about the current climate. Even though the worlds shit most people just get on as normal instead of moaning about it, and that's what my work will say about the world.
